NectarLand is a registered creative non profit organisation (under the
Indian Trusts Act of 1882) which is a dream team of self driven and committed
individuals who intend to represent the language in a manner that makes it interesting, understandable and fun - through
the use of visual design. This start up is built in the memory of Late Dr. Madhu Arya, former Sanskrit HOD in a Post Graduate college (India).
Nectarland is
committed to developing tools and media that transform the learning experience
of the Sanskrit language for students and enthusiasts. The intent is to raise
awareness regarding Sanskrit language among today's youth and enable them to
discover it afresh.
NectarLand has launched its first project named "Re-Discovering Sanskrit" which is an illustrated Sanskrit phrase book for beginner level students and enthusiasts. The organisation aims at launching one book every year based on Edutainment (Education + Entertainment) methodology.
In order to have maximum penetration, NectarLand will collaborate with many of the other Sanskrit enterprises, teachers’ associations, organizations, institutes, events and other initiatives to make the language's presence felt globally. So far NectarLand has made its presence felt at NCERT, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghathan (Delhi) and Jawahar Lal Nehru University (Delhi). NectarLand's endeavors have been captured and published in many of the national dailies like The Hindustan Times, The New Indian Express and The Millennium Post to name a few.
